What each status means
- Up to date: it arrived within the expected time for that source.
- Close: it is the closing data of its last business day; it is not updated during the day.
- Delayed: the latest available is older than expected. It is shown with its date, never as if it were current.
- No data: the source did not respond when checked; the time of the attempt is stated.
- No published date: the file does not carry its own date and none is invented for it.
The tasks that fetch the data run on scheduled times; GitHub, where they run, may delay them. A “delayed” status does not mean the data is wrong: it means it is older than expected, and that is how it is shown on every page. If a published data point turns out to be wrong, it is corrected at its source and we say so: errata and error correction.
